Our Mission
Most simply stated is, "To bind up the broken-hearted and set the captives free." There are no orphans of God. Every tongue, tribe, and nation will join together in the song of the lamb. We have adopted a motto here that says, "Religion is against our relationship." Our identity, purpose, and life is found soley in relationship with God. Facilitating God encounters is what we are all about!
The power of prayer is the foundation of this ministry. Masters Marks Ministries would not exist were it not for intercession. This area of our web site is dedicated to the intercessors. It exists for the purposes of expressing, encouraging, and enlisting intercession. If you are led or called to interceed for this ministry, please contact us.
Intercessors are a vital part of the work God is doing here. We welcome and receive your prayers and prophecies. When we kneel before Him, we defy gravity!
Revelation 5:8
And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
I have been a prisioner of God's love since I was a little girl. I heard the audible voice of the Lord for the first time when I was 3 years old in my Grandmother's yard under the callie lillies. I've been in passionate pursuit of Him ever since. My personal involvement with a variety of ministries over the years has brought me to this present work, time, and place.
My love for God has grown as I have served in many different capacities. I have a servants heart, a deep love of the Word, embrace the prophetic, activate healing, contend for miracles and fight diligently for freedom. In my heart of hearts, like Lucy in the Peanuts comic strip, "The Doc is always in" with me!
In the late 90's, My husband and I answered God's call to relocate to the Mid South. I began working in ministry full time. In 2005, I graduated from Powerhouse Ministry at Belmont in Nashville, TN. Master's Marks Ministries was birthed in the Spring of 2007. Later that year in December, I became an ordained minister.
Tonya's Favorite Word
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,
because the LORD has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners, [a]
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
that have been devastated for generations.
5 Aliens will shepherd your flocks;
foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.
6 And you will be called priests of the LORD,
you will be named ministers of our God.
You will feed on the wealth of nations,
and in their riches you will boast.
7 Instead of their shame
my people will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
they will rejoice in their inheritance;
and so they will inherit a double portion in their land,
and everlasting joy will be theirs.
8 "For I, the LORD, love justice;
I hate robbery and iniquity.
In my faithfulness I will reward them
and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations
and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge
that they are a people the LORD has blessed."
10 I delight greatly in the LORD;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up
and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise
spring up before all nations.
I love music. Most particularly, lyrics. My primary love language is words - so go figure! It stands to reason, as I consider what this amazing journey of love means to me that a song would come to mind. I have lived these lyrics and continue to see God weave them both in me and through me. They convey my testimony better than I ever could.

Title: Price Of Love
I have seen a million miles of desert land, and I have learned to be free.
And I have walked the shadow lands of Egypt, and I have learned to be free.
And I have held the mane of untamed horses, and I have learned to be free.
And I have walked on frozen lakes in my soul, and I have learned to be free.
And I have known the price of love,
And given all I have for a moment's time with you.
And I have died a thousand times,
And I have learned to be free.
And I have lost what only death could take from me, and I have learned to be free.
And I have gained what only life could give to me, and I have learned to be free.
And I have craved and walked away in the silence, and I have learned to be free.
And I have looked into the face of injustice, and I have learned to be free.
